The AMEC Mentoring Programme

AMEC Mentor Program

AMEC is supporting a global mentoring programme aimed at furthering measurement and evaluation within organisations, both in-house and in agencies.

In 2021-22 we ran a pilot mentoring programme, and now, all the learnings from this test phase have been put in place to launch the official mentoring programme.

The mentors will support mentees who want to go further than accessing “entry-level” knowledge and need guidance on tackling major business-critical challenges. Each mentor will aim to commit between 15-20 hours of time and support.

The AMEC mentoring programme will target senior decision-makers within the PR industry to shift the industry towards greater accountability and focus on better planning and measurement of commercial outcomes. However, we will accept all professionals who want to advance their application of best practices.

The mentoring offering is also a gateway into the AMEC family and the support it offers both in-house and agency professionals, e.g. training, videos etc. The program is open to members and non-members.

This isn’t currently a mentoring programme available for students or junior members of staff, however AMEC has other courses and resources which are more suitable for these levels of experience.
