Who can enter the awards?


The AMEC awards are open to all communication professionals who uses measurement in PR and communications work including but not restricted to:

  • Measurement intelligence, research and insights companies
  • PR and communications agencies
  • Media agencies
  • Digital and social teams
  • Data specialists
  • In-house communications teams – all sectors (private, public, government and not-for-profit).

Can I enter the same campaign in more than one category?


Absolutely! you can enter as many categories as you wish with the same campaign.

What is the eligibility period?


14 February 2022 to 25 July 2023

Can I enter an on-going campaign for an Award?


Yes, you can. The majority of the campaign just have taken place between 14 February 2022 to 25 July 2023. It cannot have been entered into the AMEC Awards 2022.

What is the closing date for entries?


26 July 2023 end of your business day – Extended Final Entry Deadline

Can my entry remain confidential?


The responsibility for advising AMEC of any confidentiality restraints imposed by clients shall lie with the company submitting the entry. AMEC will work with you to ensure that clients who wish to remain anonymous will do so to the public. It is advised, to increase your chance of success, to allow the judges to know who the client is. All judges are under strict NDA not to disclose anything. AMEC shall not be held liable for any failure by the company or agency submitting the entry to supply such confidentiality details.

Can I see examples of previous winning entries?

What if I miss the entry deadline?


We regret extensions will not, under any circumstances, be granted beyond the final deadline of Wednesday 26 July 2023 to keep to the timetable of judging submissions. Please contact Julie Wilkinson juliewilkinson@amecorg.com to discuss anything related to Awards entries.

When will I know if I am shortlisted?


You will be notified that you have been shortlisted on Friday 29 September 2023 the shortlist will be published on the AMEC website.

When will the winners be announced?


The AMEC Awards will take place on 16 or 17 November 2023 at an evening ceremony and celebration dinner in London, UK – final date and venue to be confirmed nearer the time.

If someone in our organisation is a judge, can we still enter the awards?


Yes. The judge will be recused from judging your entry. Judges can only access the entries that they have been asked to score.

Will my contact details be kept private?


Your personal data that AMEC collects will be processed by AMEC. It will be kept confidential and secure once received. AMEC does not sell or rent personal information to other organisations. AMEC will use the personal data to provide you with information, products and services on AMEC.

Entry fees


Entry fees must be paid online at the time of completing the submission. If your submissions have not been paid for at close of entry they will not be included for judging. You will receive an invoice/receipt on payment.  


Entry Fees –  Private sector organisations
Entries submitted by the early bird deadline Monday 3 July 2023 end of your working day.

Early Bird Entry Fees:

AMEC Member: £250+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £350 + 20% VAT

Standard Entry Fees:
Entries submitted between Tuesday 4 July and FINAL deadline Wednesday 26 July 2023 end of your working day.

AMEC Member: £315+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £415 + 20% VAT


EarlyBird Entry Not-for-profit & public sector organisations
Entries submitted by the early bird deadline of Monday 3 July 2023 end of your working day

Early Bird Entry Fees:

AMEC Member: £225+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £325 + 20% VAT

Standard Entry Fees:
– Entries submitted between Tuesday 24 July and FINAL deadline Wednesday 26 July 2023 end of your working day.

AMEC Member: £295+ 20% VAT
Non-Member: £395 + 20% VAT

Do I have to pay UK VAT @ 20% if I am not a UK registered company?

If you buy goods or services for your business in the UK that are VAT chargeable, you may be able to reclaim the VAT you paid in the UK if you’re VAT-registered in your own EU country, and bought the goods or services to use in your business.
