COVID-19 Update and Extended Final Awards Entries Deadline

We have extended the deadline for the AMEC awards to 23:55 GMT Wednesday, March 25th and that will be the final deadline for 2020 AMEC Award entries. The online Awards judging process will continue as normal. Our expectation is that our event will proceed, in one form or another, and we are therefore unable to grant any additional extension to entries.

Our top priority remains the health, safety and well-being of our community including AMEC members, delegates and employees. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this intense, rapidly-changing time.

Out of respect for your inbox being overwhelmed by announcements, this will be the only unsolicited notice regarding AMEC and COVID-19. All future communication will be exclusive to members, registered delegates and Awards entrants and available through our social channels.

The COVID-19 situation is quickly evolving and the effects in eleven weeks are still unknown. Obviously, COVID-19 is having a significant impact on all of our businesses around the world and we continue to monitor developments closely. During this time, we are working with the local market and taking the steps of a responsible organization to limit the risk posed by COVID-19.

Our team is preparing contingency plans and if we need to postpone or change the event, we will be in contact with members, registered delegates and Awards entrants directly in addition to posts on our social channels.
