The International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) has established a Scholarship for Academic Research in Evaluation of Communication (SAREC).

The scholarship will be awarded annually to an academic researcher who contributes innovative research findings and thought leadership in the field of measurement and evaluation of communication.

The recipient of the SAREC scholarship each year will be invited to give a 30-minute main hall presentation to the AMEC Global Summit and will receive US$5,000 towards travel and accommodation costs. The recipient will also receive free registration to attend the Summit worth more than US$2,000.

The scholarship will be based on submission of a research paper of up to 5,000 words to a judging panel made up of senior academic researchers and industry leaders in the field of measurement and evaluation of communication.

Academic members of the judging panel will be nominated by the Academic Advisory Group to AMEC. Industry members will be nominated by the Board of AMEC.

In addition to awarding the $5,000 scholarship, AMEC will invite three runners up to give a 20-minute presentation based on their paper to an AMEC webinar on measurement and evaluation.
